Project 2: Structure and Body: Materials, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration
Understand the awareness of anthropometry and ergonomics and relating it to form and space. Use recycled materials to design a structure for self-isolation and to show personal behavior during the pandemic period with 1:1 model scale.
Design Narrative & Intention
Isolation structure is a safe space for an individual to be in touch with their emotions and allow them to be in their comfort zone. I've chosen foetal position to express vulnerability and despair of the individual but the isolation structure acts as a barrier, protecting them from the harsh outside world and providing an escape from negative energies.

Slot sculpture - A made from. multiple pieces. secured together by creating a slit/slot in two pieces and then inserted creating a 3-D form.
